Skill: Mode Switch

All damage counts as skill DMG. Toggle between two modes:

  • Firework Tumble: Single-target fireworks dealing 350% fire DMG (10x fire scaling).
  • Dragon Parade: Continuous flame breath in a 5x3 line, dealing 3x50% fire DMG per second (5x fire scaling). Mode switching cancels the breath.

Firework mode provides safe, consistent single-target DPS. Dragon mode provides sustained AoE but requires commitment — switching modes cancels the breath. The two modes serve different combat situations.

Since all of Alvette's damage counts as skill DMG, Boar King's +80% Skill DMG bonus applies to everything — Firework, Dragon breath, Super Firework, and Self-Destruct. The double/triple cast chance is enormous on Super Firework.

Fire Demon provides baseline fire amp and fire DMG at ★3 rarity. The periodic burn adds passive damage. Use until Flame Lord or Boar King is obtained.

Why 6 Garnet with zero Ruby? Unlike most heroes, ALL of Alvette's damage is fire skill DMG. Ruby (ATK) provides no elemental scaling and her damage does not benefit from physical ATK the way auto-attack heroes do. Every Garnet gem feeds into fire scaling across both modes.

Why heavy HP investment? Even at Tier 3 (35% self-damage), Alvette needs enough HP to survive repeated Self-Destructs plus incoming enemy damage. A low-HP Alvette fires one Self-Destruct and dies. A high-HP Alvette fires multiple Self-Destructs and dominates.

Skill Tree Recommendations

All four tiers are mandatory with no branching, but the unlock priority matters for progression:

  1. Tier 0 (Mode Enhancement) — Super Firework gives burst in Firework mode; Dragon fan improves AoE.
  2. Tier 1 (Advanced Modes) — Mini-fireworks and fire resist shred. Both modes gain significant power.
  3. Tier 2 (Optimization) — Self-Destruct unlocked. WARNING: Do NOT use Dragon mode for 15s+ until Tier 3 is unlocked, or Alvette will kill herself.
  4. Tier 3 (Mastery) — Self-Destruct becomes survivable at 35% HP. The build comes fully online.
