Electromagnetic Shield Tank. Pure tank with lightning retaliation. Tier 3 invincibility transforms Alpha into a burst threat for 7 seconds.

Erect an EM shield around self, gaining Pure DEF (+25% of DEF) for 5 seconds.
This is a defensive activation skill — use it before large incoming damage spikes. The Pure DEF bonus stacks with Alpha's naturally high base DEF (102~138), making him incredibly durable during the shield window.

Why Sapphire over Emerald? Alpha's entire kit scales off DEF — his shield gives +25% of DEF as Pure DEF, Tier 0 stacks Pure DEF, and Steel Dragon converts DEF to lightning damage. DEF gems provide both offense and defense for Alpha.
