Arcana Historia has two gacha systems: Monster Card pulls and Hero recruitment.
Monster Card Gacha (Academy Trade)

- Average: 100 single pulls (1% rate)
- In diamonds: ~20,000 diamonds for expected ★4
- In 10x pulls: ~10 ten-pulls = 100 pulls = 18,000 diamonds
- In trade permits: 100 permits
Variant Gacha Pools
The game rotates card gacha pools periodically. Different pools have different ★3/★4 featured cards. Check the current pool before pulling!
Available pools include:
- Standard / Academy Trade (groups 1, 4, 6, 8, 10)
- Fantasy / Illusion Trade (groups 3, 5, 7, 9)
Hero Gacha (Orbital Beacon)

SP Heroes Available
1% chance split equally among all SP heroes in the current pool.
Literature Fragment Shop
Fragments earned from card gacha can be exchanged in the Literature shop. This is a reliable way to get specific cards over time.
Gacha Strategy (F2P)
- Save for 10x pulls — Always more efficient
- Target card gacha over hero gacha — Cards provide more power per diamond
- Check featured cards — Pull when the pool contains cards you need
- Build around ★4 targets — At 1% ★4 rate, be patient and pull on rate-up banners
- Use Trade Permits first — Save diamonds for when you run out of permits
- Collect Literature Fragments — They add up for shop exchanges
Gacha Strategy (Paid)
- Monthly card → diamond income for consistent pulling
- Pull hero gacha for SP heroes — They're build-defining
- Can afford to chase specific ★4 cards — Higher diamond budget
- Use first-purchase bonuses — Often include bonus beacons/permits
