+80% Skill DMG, 35% double-cast, 5% triple-cast at ★4. Use if you want to play healer as a hybrid DPS (holy shockwave builds). Double-cast can proc on heals for burst throughput, but lacks the team-wide CDR and DMG aura that Octopus King provides.

Why Octopus King over Boar King? Healers need CDR, not Skill DMG. Octopus King's 25-50% CDR means casting heals 50% more often — this is a direct 50% throughput increase. Boar King's +80% Skill DMG only amplifies the holy shockwave damage, not heal amounts. The team-wide +20-40% DMG aura from Octopus King also buffs your DPS heroes, making the healer a force multiplier for the entire team. Boar King only buffs yourself.

Budget: Demon Elder — ★3

Skill cast → heals lowest ally for 25% ATK. Decent early option until ★4 card obtained.

Alt: Boar King — ★4

Use for the 2222 offensive healer build where you want holy shockwave DPS with double/triple cast. Inferior to Octopus King for dedicated healing roles.

Why Vilanova Oath of suit completes the healer chain: The 4pc +20% CDR stacks with Octopus King's +25-50% CDR for a combined +45-70% cooldown reduction. This means your heals come off cooldown in nearly half the normal time. The 3pc +10% ATK directly increases heal amounts (heals scale from ATK). The 2pc +10% Skill DMG boosts holy shockwave damage. The synergy chain is: Octopus King CDR (+50%) + Vilanova Oath of suit CDR (+20%) = near-permanent healing uptime → each heal is bigger from +10% ATK → Octopus King's +30% Recovery Effect amplifies that heal further. No other set provides this level of healing throughput.

Vilanova Oath of suit CDR changes the Topaz decision: Without Vilanova Oath of suit, you need every slot as Ruby/ATK to compensate for fewer casts. With Vilanova Oath of suit's +20% CDR, you cast often enough that one Topaz for crit heals (shield proc) is worth more than the 6th Ruby. The 1111 shield build specifically benefits: +20% base healing crit + Topaz gem = consistent shield procs on your whole team.
