Fire Amp Synergy: The fire snake has 25x fire scaling at T3B (50x on advanced snake). Flame Lord's +100% Fire Amp at max stars effectively doubles ALL of the snake's fire damage. The +500 flat Fire DMG also feeds directly into the 25x multiplier. This massively outperforms summon-buffing cards because the snake's damage scales from YOUR fire stats, not from summon-specific bonuses.

Flame Lord's +100% Fire Amp at max stars effectively doubles the snake's entire fire output. Mars's +90% Summon ATK is strong, but with 25x fire scaling, fire amplification vastly outperforms raw ATK. The math: at 25x scaling, 1 point of fire ATK = 25 damage per hit. Flame Lord's +500 flat Fire DMG = 12,500 extra damage per snake hit. Mars's +90% Summon ATK adds 90% of your ATK — strong, but the fire scaling chain wins.

Alt: Mars — ★4

Use Mars when running the ice variant (2222 cold snake) OR when you have multiple summons (T4B demon + snake). Mars's +50% Summon ATK Speed + +20% DMG per active summon buffs both the snake AND yourself. Better for multi-summon builds.

Budget: Demon Squad (★3, All)

Summons: +30% ATK Speed, +15% Crit, +5% DMG. Cheap all-rounder for summon builds before you get Flame Lord.

The 2pc +20% Summon Crit gives the snake critical hits — at 25x fire scaling, a snake crit is devastating. The 3pc +30% Summon DR keeps the snake alive longer, maintaining DPS uptime.

The 2pc +10% CDR helps resummon faster when the snake expires. For ice builds where you also use Ice Cone (1122), Voit of suit's CDR benefits both skills.

Why element gems stay dominant: The snake's damage uses 25x+ fire/ice scaling. At this multiplier, Crimson/Cobalt gems are far more efficient than Ruby per point of element damage. Guttorm of suit/Voit of suit's set bonuses increase the snake's attack frequency and duration, making your element gem investment pay off more hits over a longer period.
